GMAC Mortgage's support of associate volunteerism and corporate giving is crucial in strengthening our connection with the communities we serve.

Last year, we supported more than 700 of our associates who gave freely of their time to several charities and helped them raise thousands of dollars. In addition, we made corporate contributions to more than 250 organizations totaling $500,000.

To our signature charity, Habitat for Humanity, we contributed $150,000 and helped 12 Habitat for Humanity affiliates build homes.

Our corporate contributions helped support non-profit organizations that address the arts, health, human services, education, children, housing, communities and minorities throughout the country. These organizations include:

Volunteer Spotlight: Boxes for Baghdad
This initiative has rallied associates across the country to support and salute our troops. Associates have been sending out monthly packages to Iraq since last September, 2003.
